Superyacht Design and Performance

We are marine industry leaders in providing customised and alternative design solutions that balance perfectly realising creative aspiration and meeting safety compliance.

Our architects and software engineers have helped many vessels boost their performance with weight-saving and better powering solutions using an in-house Propulsion Hydrodynamics tools (pictured). We employ Computational Fluid Dynamics algorithms (CFD) to model optimal wind-flow comfort and/or emission control for a better onboard experience. This software allow us to enhance open owners’ spaces while retaining the highest levels of comfort and protection.

Naval architecture & software

Our naval architects and software team have created ground-breaking services that allow visionary owners and superyacht designers to realise ambitious designs. Whether a new build or at any stage of a refit or rebuild, we’re proud to provide innovative solutions at the same time consulting on safety-related issues to comply with global regulations and safety at sea.

{ Personal service }

We understand each client, project and Superyacht is completely unique. We also understand the complexities are easier to talk over on a call or in a meeting.

Superyacht Surveys

Our marine surveyors exploit new technologies such as 3D laser scanning and drones to allow for faster and accurate documentation of the condition of a vessel; providing hull and machinery surveys for collision damage, groundings, structural failures, condition surveys, repair surveys  and pre-purchase or post delivery surveys.

For visual inspections, surveyors use a combination of high-definition stills photography and live video feeds, allowing them to document areas of structure not normally accessible without cranes or scaffolding. This approach enables larger areas to be surveyed in a shorter timeframe, reducing costs to the client.

Innovative Safety Solutions for Superyachts

The increased demand for system redundancy planning onboard Superyachts is a particularly challenging development to meet the Safe Return to Port requirements of SOLAS. As the owner, manager or captain, we can help you develop onboard software systems and training using our extensive knowledge and experience.
